Would the solution you describe in this article be similar (or somehow opposite?) of what you suggest for forward or side-walking rocking chairs? It’s a beautiful chair that I special ordered from a reputable furniture store. I’d certainly spend much more time in it if I didn’t have to shuffle it forward every few minutes.
