How I LOVE Vermont and Route 100 is one of our favorite drives. A fun stop at the Vermont Country Store is a must and taking in the beautiful scenery and countryside just renews the soul. Burlington is a must when going North and Of course and eventually venturing off of Rt. 100 and trekking off to the Cabot Cheese factory and King Arthur is always a must when we take a trip to Vermont.

Lived in New England all my life and have rarely visited Vermont. But now after reading the article and its many comments have inspired me to make this trip in autumn 21. Bucket list opportunity that is only available for several weeks each year.

Drove route 100 in 1998..started at the Weston…..Country Store..many stops including Stowe and the Northern Kingdom…no place on earth like Vermont, especially in the Fall…

My grandmother had an older farmhouse in So. Londonderry on Rt. 100 when I was growing up (am 88 now). We had fun visits there as children, playing in the river that ran behind her house. Fond memories. There were six of us so always had playmates.
