Can you suggest an itinerary for two days. I would like to explore as much as I can and enjoy the fall foliage while driving.

The views of the lake and mountains are spectacular. Usually you can stop for a fabulous lunch on the Carriage House patio over looking the lake. Unfortunately, not this year.

Driving on route 16 north to Errol then route 26 north to Colebrook. In Colebrook head south on route 3 to route 2 in Lancaster. Drive east on route 2 to route 115. Turn left onto route 115, following it to route 3 in Carroll. Turn left on route 3 towards Twin Mountain. In Twin Mountain you can either turn left onto route 302 east to return to North Conway or continue south on route 3. Gorgeous scenery and almost nobody else on the roads.
